This weekend police in Colorado pulled over a DWI suspect. He tried to switch seats with his dog. That takes "the dog ate my homework" to a new level.

In addition to DWI charges the driver should also be charged with animal endangerment and the dog seized.

 

Taking the dog would likely have a greater impact on the driver than any punishment by the courts unless he is a habitual DWI offender.

The eyes through which you see others may be the same as how they see you.

The inebriated one must have been pretty far gone.  He should have known dogs can't reach the peddles.
