My Khloe and Zoe will watch TV With me in bed but as soon as I turn the TV off they go to their bed under my bed. If either one needs to go potty they get on the bed and very gently scratch my face to wake me up.
Some mornings I do find Zoe on my pillow.

We had a stay in babysitter for Shadow, 1 years old when we left or a week on vacation.
We came back, and the baby was used to sleeping on the bed! He's been there since. I have a separate sheet over everything to catch dog hair since the bed quilt is from Ethan Allen.

Really, really love the sheet over the top of our blanket (the quilt is pulled down. No fur in the blanket!

Of course, they do , I should rephrase that and just say, I am so grateful they allow me to sleep in their bed!, My little one who went to heaven almost 3 months ago, after 9 years of enjoying her everlasting love, presence, dedication and 24/7 interaction, who I still miss every second , she used to go to bed before me and would call me if I was taking too long, I still have her blanket on the corner where she used to sleep and even if I can no longer see her, I know she is still there with me, my other princess, the older sister, she sleeps on the other side of the bed, they both snore , one louder than the other!

I would have a hard time sleeping without our dog snuggled up next to me. She is small and has very little hair (she suffers from alopecia)

@ECBG Our comforter, shams are white matelsse (white on white) and white sheets/pillowcases. So, we always keep an inexpensive white sheet (have several) that stay on top and can go in the wash and save our comforter from any dirt or damage.

It's been three years since the last of my cats passed away. I never had more than two at a time. Now I live without any pet.
But in my day as a pet parent any cat who lived here slept in my bed at night. Usually they'd spoon next to me, but some liked to sleep above my head on the pillow, or behind my knees. All made contact with me for hours.
I had to adjust to no longer having a cat in the house when the last one died. The hardest adjustment was sleeping without feeling the warmth, hearing the deep sighs and feeling the tiny stirrings from it, though he slept deeply after a whole day of playing and also time spent napping!!
I think sleeping with a house pet like a cat or dog is very relaxing and comforting.
