We have a male American Eskimo and he sure is fluffy (and adorable). While I wouldn't trade him for anything as he is the sweetest boy, it sure is a lot of work having a dog with a long and fluffy double coat.  We find long white hair in the weirdest places even though we vacuum/sweep daily.  Even with daily brushing, it's so hard to keep his hair from sticking together or getting matted around his collar.  However, seeing an Eskie running with the wind blowing through their hair when they are freshly groomed is a beautiful sight Smiley Happy

We have been talking about getting a second dog and we keep saying we want a low maintenance dog that does't shed so much.  The problem is that we seem to be drawn to extra hairy high mainenance pups!
