CBD oil is not regulated yet, call and ask your veterinarian for help.

Please be very careful with CBD oil. The first brand I used was wonderful, worked great and I saw instant results. The second brand I used,  my friend's son was selling it and it made me vomit, I was sick from taking it. I'd hate to think of giving it to an animal and the dog couldn't tell you that it was actually making him/her feel worse instead of better Smiley Sad

Personally I would not give my dog anything unless it was recommended or prescribed by a veterinarian.

Please ask your vet. It may cause hallucinations, which would be terrifying for your dog.

No it should not be used.  Please go see your vet.

I agree with what the others have said about this.  Work with your vet about this.  If the oil contains any THC it could kill your dog.  It is toxic to dogs.  CBD isn't.  There is a CBD oil made for dogs that you can get from your vet.

I have never heard of Benadryl for car sickness.  I have Dramamine, but then again you need to ask your vet about the dose.  There are other natural remedies for car sickness.

All the best.

Ginger has been used for nausea in dogs. Ask your vet about this. There has been no testing of CBDs in dogs for nausea, so anyone can only guess or relate anecdotes about this.

Thanks girls. Just asking out of curiosity and would never give my dogs antypthing without vet approval. Guess I’ll have to get a RX from the vet since I travel to my twin sisters in Connecticut often since my husband passed away on July 1st.

My sons, twin sister and dogs have been my saving grace.
