Reports of 2 cats in NY w/ COVID 19. Dogs should not be in contact w/ other people or dogs. Pets cannot give virus to people. It seems they're getting infected from humans.

I read about that on CNN. We have an indoor cat with health issues, so we've been careful to wash our hands before giving her meds and interacting with her after doing grocery errands, etc. better to take precautions until they figure this out.

After hearing the report, we blocked the wrought iron fence from the street with thick cording. People walking dogs would come through the shrubs and let their dogs "visit" w/ Molly. Now she'll be safe using her doggie door. We also canceled her "daycare" for today (dog parks have been closed) & this was her only way to play with other dogs, but she'll have us until this issue is studied.

In China, cats are wearing masks.

There's no way the mountain lioness we live with would permit a mask, LOL. But then again, she also doesn't leave the house. I do the "disinfecting" of myself when I go out to protect her.

In China they eat cats and dogs...horrible death.
