I have had the pleasure of meeting 2 black cats.  Both had excellent manners. Both  were pleasures to be around.  Why is it that black goes with everything except when you're a cat?  HOORAY FOR BLACK CAT DAY!

Thanks for starting this very important thread--I agree with every word you wrote.  My first cat as an adult wss a black cat whose lustrous, elegant beauty was  exceeded only by her gentle,mloving heart.

my 2 'black cats' are just celebrating their 16th birthdays.  they are vigorous and healthy and going strong.  they live in harmony with their 15 yr old sister shih tzu and they all live in semi-harmony in what my vet calls my geriatric ward!
