Fur-Day Afternoon Greetings to

@Puddles,@Yahooey,@Tissyanne,

Sorry I haven't been here for a spell

but I have two friends who each had to

travel so I've been going to each of their

homes to take care of their kittehs.One

is thankfully due home tomorrow and the

other next Friday.

One lives at the top of the mountain

that I also live on (I'm at the bottom)

and the other lives on the other side

of town.

Due to the the never ending snowfall..

at times with sleet mixed in...and the

bitter cold..it's made driving on these

lovely narrow billion year old country

mountain roads a total joy!

I've had to leave early to get to both

homes before I go to work and am still

helping to tend to the kittehs at the Annex.

By the time that I get home all I want

to do (after I take care of my kittehs)

is to put on my jingle jammies,have a

big bowl of hot tomato,basil and spinach

soup and defrost my body and what is left

of my mind!

I hope and pray that all is well with each

one of you cherished friends,your families

and your furbabies.

Do plan to be back here in Pancakeland tomorrow!

I'm being as careful as I can be

dealing with this Winter Armageddon!

Thankfully the county that I live in

(Southeastern most in NYS..borders NJ)

didn't get the brunt of yesterday's ice

storm.

The counties north of us and across the

Hudson River did.Now we're due to get

more snow (guess you'll be getting it too)

on Thursday starting late morning/early

afternoon and ending Friday morning.

Right now they're estimating 6" to 12"

but I'm praying for a much lesser amount.

I don't care if I can't go to my job

but it's imperative that I get to my

friend's house in the mornings and in

the afternoons to take care of her kitty

while she's away.She's due back Friday

evening...has been gone since Saturday

morning.

Her house is approximately 3-4 miles

from mine and I have to travel on the

back roads to get there.

I know that you're also dealing with brutal

weather conditions where you live and I pray

that you all get through this insanity safe and sound.
