Hi Pancakers,

It's been a quiet weekend.

I'm ready (as ready as I'll ever be, I guess) to get my apartment painted. I was scheduled to do it 3 days after I fell last year. It's an overwhelming amount of work, but I'll just expect to take a month or two to get everything back where it belongs. Looking around the place, it really needs it. I chose a terrible off-white paint color last time around and it looks dingy as can be now. I also have a slate blue accent wall. This time, it's going to be standard white all around. After that, I'll see about some new furniture.

I hope everyone is doing well.  Huggz and lickeez all around!

We had an adoption event at the

Annex this week-end and a lot of

kittens were adopted and all are

going to wonderful forever homes.

We do a very stringent background

check on all prospective adoptees.

It did break my heart that none of

the precious cats were adopted.They

are also in desperate need of forever

homes and still have so much love to

give...and most of them are not that

old.

We have another adoption event

coming up next month and I'm

praying with all of my heart that

some of these sweet kittehs are

finally adopted.

@beastielove, so glad to hear that lots of kittens were adopted at your adoption event! When I'm ready for kittehs again, you can be sure I will be adopting an older kitteh.... or two.

Love that pic of Pancake and Beano! I've seen CLEM around the boards fairly recently.

We are doing well. Mr. M just got his coconut rubdown and brush. He loves licking my fingers afterwards.

Hi Pancakers!

WHY IS IT SO HOT!

A few weeks ago, I remember PUglet saying she is changing her wardrobe over to the cooler weather. HA joke is on us.

I'm melting - this is hight 80's and humid. Absolutely ridiculous. I"m planning a trip to Vancouver to hang with nature. Hike and bike and hopefully in cooler weather.

@beastielove I'm so glad that so many kittehs have been adopted to their furever home. I have been posting with Clem at another thread - Sloaney thread on community. She is currently on a cruise in Alaska.

@puglet11 good the hear that Mr M is enjoying Spa ala Chez Puglet. Enjoy your bag and dont' be surprised if a few kittehs follow yu home.

I'm so hot that I need a larger furrier animal to represent me.
