Bless you for having the courage to end Brandy's suffering even if it meant the beginning of yours. It hurts so much because you love so much--and she knew nothing but love and family and security for all those years you had together.

The first dog is so special. And Heaven has a new angel in Brandy, that's for sure.

Please take solace in knowing so many of us are wrapping our collective arms around you because we've been there, too. And take good care of yourself with rest, good food, and family and friends to lean on.

It's normal to feel like this.  They are our babies who look to us for love and care.  We are all with you and know exactly how you feel.  Try to remember the wonderful times you shared.  It's natural to be sad right now, you are grieving the loss of a loved one.  Gradually, you will learn to look back at the memories you had with Brandy will no pain but smiles and laughter at the love you both gave each other.  My sincere condolences, thinking of you.
