Here's my parrotlet Bodie.  He is 17 years young.

He's beautiful but what is a parrotlet?  What color is his back?  Does he talk?

Parrotlet means tiny parrot.  He is a true parrot.  Acts like an amazon in a small package. He has many colors of blue and green.  Their  lifespan is probably 15-20 so he is a true senior.  He has shared my life since he was 3 months old.  He is very spoiled.

I love birds. I have a Senegal parrot named Sweet Pea,a dusky headed conure named Nemo ( so loud and moody that we jokingly call him Meano), a cockatiel named Lieutenant Dan ( because one of his parents chewed off his little feet when he was a baby ) which I  adopted from a pet store that was closing down and no one wanted him, and a finch I adopted from an older lady going into a nursing home.  Birds can be so fun and a challenge too.

@Jeddy  He is so darling! I have a cockatil that I got as a baby about 23 years ago! He has so much personality!
