I am most sorry to hear about Toby’s passing.  He is at peace and happy, sending you messages.  He knows you two will be reunited some day, and meanwhile I am sending you hugs and my best wishes.  I know how hard this is.

@Boomernichols  I am so very sorry your Toby has crossed the Rainbow Bridge!   Losing a Terrier leaves a St. Bernard-sized hole in our hearts, their personalities are many times larger than their fierce little bodies, I think their spirits shine so bright they burn out faster.  I hope my Maggie, Bucky, Gussie, Lucy, Birdy, Peggy Sue, Molly, Ginger, Fergus and Cinder (all Scotties but for Cinder, a Cairn) were all there to meet your Toby and welcome him to the heather-filled Highland fields beyond the Rainbow Bridge!

I am so sorry to hear about Toby.  He lived a long life but not long enough,  Westies are real warriors in a little body and I know you will miss him forever.  He is in heaven playing with my two westie girls.

I can relate to the deep sense of

pain and heartache that your dealing

with now having been down that same

dark road many times before...most

recently in April when my beloved kitty

Samantha went to The Bridge while I

held her in my arms...and will be again

at some point as I still have three more

rescued kitties.

Please find comfort and solace knowing

that Toby always knew in his doggy

heart how very much you loved him

and that even though you can no longer

see him his loving spirit will be surrounding

you 24/7 until you are reunited for eternity.

I will light a special memorial candle

for Toby on the pet loss dot com site.

Unfortunately I understand exactly how you feel. Your heart shatters when you lose someone so beloved to you.  Toby is with you, though, forever. The bond you have is everlasting and he lives always in your heart....where took up residence so long ago.
