April the giraffe

April had to be put down due to arthritis. I'm so sad.

@Cat lover 1731  Oh how sad!  I hope she was not suffering in pain.  I enjoyed the excitement of waiting for her to give birth a few years ago.  She brought happiness to a whole new group of fans.

I was very heart broken to read that April had passed today.  She was a worldwide icon as many watched her give birth to her babies.  Knowing carrots were her favorite snack she also was an talented painter.  RIP April you will be missed.

I cried reading about her passing this morning, just thinking about the staff and the love they had for her, made me cry.

 

Heck, the love she garnered from her fan base world wide, this animal was tremendously beloved.

She was a precious soul.
