Has anyone bought off this site? They donate bowls of food for animals. They have really cute items. I bought a pair of pajamas with paw prints. It is really nice. Today, I bought a hooded sweat shirt with paw prints. They offered free shipping with a coupon code. If you haven't been to the site, I would suggest you visit it. It helps animals. Their prices are very reasonable.

You can donate directly to your local animal shelter or local rescue groups. They often have lists of items they need on their websites. Blankets, cat litter and food are usually always in demand.

I visit the site daily, And click to donate. I bought slippers and a tee shirt and the stuff is a little cheap looking.

it is a legitmate site. They give money to shelters, etc. Everyday you can click on the free donation button supported by their vendors. I have been doing it daily for more than a decade. They also have rescue challenges where people vote for a rescue to win a substantial donation.

Is the website called 'Animalrescue.com'?

The items I purchased were not cheap looking. They were cute and well made. The pajamas were flannel on the bottom(drawstring)and cotton on the top.

No offense but I wouldn't use it.

Keep in mind "The Animal Rescue Site" is a purely commercial retail site and not a charity site.

They're part of "GreaterGood.com" and they do not disclose how much they actually give to charities and they're not listed with CharityNavigator.org or CharityWatch.org.

This is from a site (seriousgivers dot org) that investigates "charities."

"GreaterGood.Com is a commercial entity, not a charity.

I found no clear information on how much it raises, or what portion goes to charity programs (vs. GreaterGood.com sales, administration and profit).

If you want to support strong charities doing work you care about, give elsewhere (not at GreaterGood.Com).

There’s no telling how much of the money raised through GreaterGood.com goes to any particular cause."

Since I am not giving them my money, only clicking on a link, I don;'t care if it is on charity navigator or not. It is free and bowls of food are donated, as well as their sister sites---clicks go toward mammograms, food for the hungry, rainforest, veterans, diabetes, alzheimers etc.

I have purchased a few sweatshirts, t's etc. and again that funds even more. I have animalrescuesite.com as my homepage and click every day.
