Yes, I had to show the empty hands and then say, "Gone, gone" for them to even believe me! 😁 But on occasion there could still be a non believer. 🤣

Yep definitely a universal gesture.  We use it too.  It's so funny to see them all turn and walk away when you "show the hands".
