Re: Adopted Sarah, a rescue pug

Rescue dogs are so wonderful.  We have three.  When you get a chance you should post a picture.

Sarah sounds like a wonderful dog.  I've heard that pugs have the sweetest personalities.  It's great that you adopted a pug that needed you so much.

@devababy  Congratulations on the adoption.  May you and Sarah have many happy healthy years together.  Nothing like the unconditional love of a dog especially a rescue.  I love to hear when a fur baby finds a forever home.

@devababy  You are a saint for taking in this needy little girl!  I hear over and over how rescued dogs and cats return the love ten fold.  They know they've been rescued and appreciate their new homes more than other animals do.  Enjoy your new friend!

Re: Adopted Sarah, a rescue pug

Bless you for adopting a rescue who might have been "unadoptable" to others.  Look at the love and joy she has already brought to your home!  Two years ago I saw a picture in a local newspaper of a 5 year old male cat who had been at the Humane Society for several months.  The kittens were being adopted but the older kitties were not.  Something tugged at my heart about this guy so I cut out his picture and put it in my purse. We were NOT looking to add any more fur babies to our family.  We had 2 dogs and a cat.  This was the least amount of pets we had had for a long time and it was pleasant.  After a few weeks of looking at his face in the newspaper clipping everyday my husband said "just call and see if he is still there" .  Yep, he was there waiting for us and needles to say, he has found his forever home.  Both of our beloved dogs have passed (ages 17 and 15) and 6 months ago we rescued 3 kittens!  They all get along great. One happy bunch of rescues!

@devababy

I believe Baby sent Sarah to you, Scarlet and Deva!  And, what a very special gift from Baby!!  I believe anyone, human, canine, et al, afflicted with a disability is a very special soul - an old soul - and Baby bestowed you with this precious soul to love and nurture!Heart  God Bless!
