That is a great idea! I no longer have a cat that scratches furniture; he's a good kitty and only uses the scratchers I have available for him. Not only that, but he also doesn't jump up on the counters! He also doesn't scratch or bite although he sometimes pretends he does. No idea who had him before me, but he is 7 years old.

Genius, and yes....of course we all say why didn't we think of that !

- whoever did, saved both and their frayed nerves and the cat's 9 lives in the process!
