Re: A Petunia Adventure, Gave Me A Heart Attack.

@Hmmmmm24   She was great all summer.  I am home all day with her and she always laid next to the box fan on the windowsills and never bothered the screens. If I left the any reason, even to go get the mail, I closed the windows, just in case.

After yesterday an inch it is.

She is ripping and tearing as usual. She was doing zoomies last night. She's eating and using the litterbox, so I guess other than that sudden stop in the driveway she's good.

That cat !!

@catter70   We have a loft too.  We still have it "blocked" off, it has been that way since we took her in. Remove temptation so to speak.

Both Tess, our 12 year old, and an orange boy we had, Gizmo, fell off the railing. Tess never got on it again.  Gizmo, well, he thought flying was fun. We had a heck of a time keeping him off the railing. If we saw him we stood under him and spotted him.

Giz was fearless.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 , my Stormy is like your Gizz. He knows no fear. I've never had a cat like that before and I've had quite a few over the years. Anyhow, I hope little Petunia is doing well and behaving herself. She sure is a cutey.

Re: A Petunia Adventure, Gave Me A Heart Attack.

@catter70   She is snoozing on a kitchen chair. Luckily, she is fine, I shook the treat bag this morning and she came dashing into the living room. I got a "I fell out the window and was outside in the wilderness" look.

DD and I both were up at 1:00 this morning eating.  Neither of us could eat after we found her and made sure she had no broken bones.  We made sure she was drinking and eating and watching for an sign she was injured.

DD said, "it's a good thing I don't have kids, I have enough anxiety worrying about a cat.  Where is the bottle of Tums?"
