Perfect! My dog is curled up on the floor next to my computer chair right now. I'll have her 8 years next month and she'll be 12 years old.

I have said many times we humans can learn a lot from dogs. They give unconditional love and companionship. I could walk to the mailbox or take out trash and when I come back in the house my dog is so excited to see me you would think I had been gone for a year. They aren't just dogs. They are our fur babies.

Absolutely love this! I am always amazed at how dogs can love so unconditionally. It doesn't matter how we look or what we have they are always there for us. Even if we treat them poorly they always come back just looking for a bit of loving and attention. People can definitely learn a lot from dogs. A lot of times I feel closer to my dogs than people. (Other than my immediate family of course). People come and go in my life but the dogs are always there.

I love these little stories. I don’t have a dog but my cat is sleeping on my lap at the moment. I love all fur babies because they give us unconditional love.

@OKPrincess. I had a cat when I was 10. She was tricolor...I think my neighbor called it calico. I chose her because she matched my beagle. OK, I said I was young. Lol. Anyway, she was quite attentive, always slept on the foot of my bed and aware of my moods. I think any attributes that go for dogs include cats, as well.

@Veridoc ITA. My dogs never have a bad day. It’s as if they’re here to make my days better.
