When my son called from the hospital to announce we had a granddaughter, he said she sure cries a lot.

I told him that being born isn't easy.......she's just PO'd at the shock of being kicked out of a warm dark place into the bright lights and human handling of the real world.

I also informed him that he wasn't exactly a quiet and cheerful newcomer, either.

So amusing to learn that the little creature had arrived safely and her Dad didnt know what to make of it all.

He was a proud Dad after it was all over.  She is a darling treasure to all of us since then.
