my son is 17 and has no desire to drive

I know this sounds odd but it is true. My son has asperger's syndrome (a form of autism). He attends public school and is mostly highly functional. But...he has no desire to learn to drive. It would make my life SOOO much easier if he did ( i drive him to school and back every day). I know its not about me but I dont know if I should push the issue for him to learn or just let it go.

any ideas?
