So many variables here! I have so many questions!
Don't care if it's either of my sons or my daughter, I want to know the family of the person they are involved with---age makes no difference, either, I still want to meet the parents at the very least.
Who lets their daughter (or son) live with a man who is a known abuser with a *history* that they are aware of?
I wouldn't do a meet on Mother's Day, that's an intimate day and this sounds like it should be set up for Hatfields and McCoy day instead....
You said you always get to know the person real well, it's how you do it....well obviously you didn't get to know your own husband very well. Takes more than a barbeque to know someone.
I don't understand about the Balt. Cty cop. Was he one of the ones convicted or under investigation for police brutality. Because to the best of my knowledge, domestic disputes are usually more deadly for officers responding.
