Forgot to add: this was for an 16 month old boy. I watched him for a neighbor who was moving/going to settlement.

The place was basically emptied except for a Pack and Play for naps, so other than books and the TV, I bought this out of desperation at the last minute!

Kept him busy for hours. I've gotten texts since w/videos showing that he still loves it a month later.

My grandson loves the Kidoozie Super Spiral Play Tower. He's 14 months and fascinated with the frog that's included.

The Fisher-Price Little Wheelies Race Track is also a favorite.

Of course the best toy is the one his sister is playing with.

Duplo blocks are great for eye/hand coordination, and encourages creativity. Look like giant lego's. My kids and then the grand kids loved them

I have a grandson who will be 18 months old at Christmas. I was wondering if any of you Moms with children around that age have any toy recommendations. My son and daughter-in-law will say he doesn't need anything but I am his Grandma and I am going to buy him Christmas presents!!!! Thanks!

I trust you were kidding about "I am his Grandma and I am going to buy him Christmas presents" if it is against the parents wishes.

I didn't mean that they didn't want him to have anything, they just know that they can afford to buy him anything he wants. They are fine with us buying things for him, they just don't think it's necessary.
Do not worry, I think most on here knew what you meant.
