DD( age 5) and I were at a kids( all 5 year olds) bowling party. 5 kids (2 boys and 3 girls) both parents were they except for me, I was alone( DH stayed home with DS). DD had to go potty one of the Dad's said "I will take her with my daughter". I said "no thanks". The little girl told her Dad she hated going to the men's room why can't Mommy take her to the ladies room. So I took both little girls to the ladies room.
I do take DS( age 4) to the ladies room but I wouldn't let DD go to mens room. We have a potty in the car if DD and is out with DH alone. DH has taken her to the family bathroom.
Is new or is it what everyone does?
