I worked with a woman who had 5 boys. Their house was like a gymnasium. When the boys hit a certain age, she thought she could finally have nice things and decorated her living room with wall paper and nice furniture. The boys kicked a hole through the wall wrestling. 

 

I have girls and love it. They are a piece of cake. But it's too hard to generalize. If I had boys, I'm sure I'd want it no other way. 

 

Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If you run a crazy, dysfunctional anxiety ridden house, chances are your kids will follow suit.
