How do I get it clean?

My GD has a crochet blankie that she sleeps with everynight. It used to be pink with white edging. It is so stained and turning black. I have washed it, soaked it and i still can't get it to where it loooks clean. Do you ladies have any suggestions on what I could use to at least make it look clean and not dirty?
