I am helping my grandson make a banner for his Holly Communion. Felt pieces glued onto a felt banner. When I made one with his brother, glue "blobs" from Aleene's Tacky Glue showed through to the front. Any suggestions on a glue that will hold, but not leave blobs?

Make sure you use fabric glue. It should say on the label which fabrics it will adhere to.

The craft/fabric store has fabric/glue tape or crystals that can be used to glue two types of fabric together. I recommend the "tape" (that actually looks like 1/2" guaze) It's easy to use and does not show thru. Just cut and fit between the two fabrics and iron over it. Works for me every time.
