1. Cardi/Sweater Clips....so many possibilities with single or multi chains. Clip could be so many of LDO superb designs and clips needn't be alligator type, but something more gentle, but still grip.
With all the open jackets, dusters, and so forth, I know I'd buy many and cost shouldn't be too prohibitive.
2. Weskit style vests, the kind with the pointed front hem that is so flattering. I used to have a burgundy one, think it was pigskin with classic satin back. A little adjustable buckle in back kept it from looking too boxy. You might also use the cardi clips to the same effect, or with scarves.
Love to see this in tartan plaids or solids to mix and match. Even in my 60's, the personal Summers(!) have me wishing for a second, fairly light and non-contricting layer, buttoned up...still have the V-neck, or open.
This is man's vest but gives you the idea. Of course, Louis would give his LL bust darts and princess seaming down the front. I would love these with a blouse and boho skirt!
