I bought a storage container for some of my whisper knits. Now, my question is, should I fold them, or roll them???

@cafemocha4me, I spent a lot of my career flying from one place to another. I vote for roll. Less wrinkles. LM

"larger sweaters I fold, but I try to limit the amount of folds….for instance….for a straight bottom sweater, no matter the length. I fold it in half [bottom to top], and then fold the sleeves across with out folding them anymore. I find I can fit them in the containers with out folding anymore, and they aren’t so thick. With the swing bottom sweaters I lay them flat, fold the swing part in along the seam [the godets] and then fold the same way. One fold bottom to top, sleeves in and put in container. You should try to store your knits with the least amount of folds. "

My sweaters are mostly folded but I wish they weren't. Because they are rather compressed into the drawers, and I wear any individual sweater so seldom, folds set. The sweaters need to be steamed prior to wearing. I do much better with rolled items, but those take up more space.

Space vs Folds: I wish I knew
I, as you have read, asked Louis about storing WK. He only rolls the short sleeve sweaters and folds everything else in large containers. I'm in the midst of moving and need to make a major change in storing my sweaters. I think (?) I'm going to get at least two large contianers (Louis wrote,"'the containers range from 22″, 24″ and 27″ long, 15″ wide and 5″ deep approx.") for under the bed. But the contianers take up space and drawers are too small (too many folds).
Linea Ladies, can you help us because we need new ideas?
