I admit I own nothing cabernet colored shoe or boot-wise. I love the new offerings in the port, but not sure what shoes work best. Do you try to match the shade as close as possible? Any photos would be good too. Thanks!

I try not to get too crazy finding matching footwear. Not enough hours in the day to look for them.  I am usually wearing a black shoe of some sort.

The majority of high end stores and designers are showing black shoes with wine and port.  Not sure about the blackberry - maybe red or wine/burgundy colored shoes would look nice!

I have a very expensive lamb leather skirt in the wine color that I purchased at Neiman Marcus last Fall and they had it paired with a black top, black tights and black suede shoes.  That is how I wear it and it looks stunning.  Other times I wear black suede boots.

I have black suede booties that I intend to wear with my new port wk outfit. My espresso Fly London Yip booties look good also with my port whisper knit outfit.

I have wine suede "booties" that I wear with my merlot lustra knit pants.  Color is almost a perfect match.

For the blackberry - probably black suede.

There is a Marc Fisher suede shoe here that matches the blackberry (to my eye) perfectly.  I have the "big deal" shirt in blackberry and will wear those new shoes when I wear that shirt with jeans or some other pants.
