I heard it, I saw it--I agree with your assessment. After my mother passed, my father could be triggered in an instant. Louis is really doing well---honoring his life with Jac and his love for her, but realizing he has to go on with his life and that it's OK to laugh again.

I don’t think the caller meant ill-will. Just being sincere. As someone who has lost their spouse, it doesn’t take much to get choked up, no matter how long it’s been.
Just want to say it wasn't me! I'd never do that to Louis.
