Does anyone know whether this Linea subforum will continue, since the line isn't going to?

Old subgroups never die; they just fade away. I imagine that's what this one will do eventually while less and less people lament the loss of the vendor. In time, he will be pretty much forgotten.

Louis continues to post on his Blog....that’s how I plan to stay in touch.
Seka,
Thanks for letting people who may not be familiar with Louis' blog know about it.

Won't we be allowed to post here? I like to discuss putting together outfits and jewelry - how and where to wear them, what other things they go with, etc.

Kachina624,
I have so many of Louis' pieces which I treasure and wear all the time that I never will forget his designs. Even more so, I never will forget Louis or his dear wife Jac as people and the genuine care they showed to us, their customers.
Louis always has been willing to check if certain older pieces would go with new purchases. Before a season was planned, he asked what colors we might like in items that were going to be reordered.
His suggestions for putting looks together and his genius at accessorizing was (and continues to be) invaluable. If he didn't carry an item (like tights before he started making them or berets to match Whisper Knits), he would tell us where we could find them.
Louis and Jac made us feel more like their friends than their customers. They "took" us on vacation with them through the pictures and postings on his blog. He showed us their home and garden through every season and even let us see the beautiful way Jac set the table for a summer lunch. (Jac, a wonderful cook, also shared some of her delicious recipes with us. Louis recently shared photos of his first cake made from Jac's Aunt's recipe.)
We got to "spend Christmas" with their family though those beautiful photographs and blogs.
Having had a lifetime interest in fashion, I loved to read Louis's stories about the fashion industry and the many famous people they got to know over the years.
If you somehow missed his blog, I would encourage you to start at the beginning and read every entry. Through that blog I guarantee you will get to know Louis and Jac as real people.
Another bonus of reading his blog is that Louis has started going back through his drawings for his previous collections and telling us about them. What a treat!
So, as a proud Linea Lady, I beg to differ with your comments that "In time, he will be pretty much forgotten." Even with the passage of time (for us Linea Ladies), Louis and Jac will never be forgotten but always will be remembered and valued for being amazingly creative, positive, generous, and truly unforgettable people .

This post has been removed by QVC because it is unkind

Just to add to what you have already said Writer with Flair. Louis was and is part of Fashion History long before he started to design a line for QVC. He is featured in many fashion books like "American Fashion" where one of his designs is on the cover! So dear Kachina you may forget who Louis is, but many many of us never will, nor will our daughters who where his clothes as my daughter does. I will never forget Jac and Louis' kindness to all of us who grew to love them as wonderful people. If this forum should end we know exactly where to find Louis himself right at.....louisdellolio.com....his fabulous website.

Hopefully, they will keep the subforum going as long as they have merchandise to sell.
It's a good way to find out about markdowns rather than checking each individual item.

When I look at the posts of his previous designs, it is confirmation of his talent. The clothing could be presented today and sell out immediately, even 20 years later. They are classic. He is truly an outstanding designer. I only wished I had found him earlier than I did (I would need more closet space).
