I do remember that jacket! I  think it came in a dark brown with rust emb, and black with silver grey, but I'm not 100% sure. I remember metallic emb, and the photo looks like there is gold in it. It was boucle. Louis would know for sure.

I have purchased many of the "sample" Linea garments. Often in colors the buyers may have declined or slight variations in style that have been perfect.

Me, too, on the "samples." Also, I do recognise this garment as a vintage Linea one, from more than a decade ago. ... Edited to add that on Sunday the 17th I saw a black version on Poshmark with a $100 asking price.
