I will definitely wear the blue to my churches candle light service on Christmas Eve. Many get very dressy and it's a beautiful night. I put mine on speed delivery because I have weddings coming up in Nov and Dec. Thank goodness they are all different people.

Let us know when you get it and wearing to candleight service sounds lovely.

i am now considering this skirt for a "mother of the bride" look.

i had planned to wear a wide leg palazzo pant, but have not yet found a top or dressy jacket that i want.

i think this might fit the bill.

does anyone know if this has any stretch at all? my only concern is the lining.

You should rewatch the video. The waist is stretch. It's a pull-on and Louis said in his sneak peek it's lined in tricot knit like the boho skirts so it should be perfect. I think it would be beautiful as a MOB in the Latte. IMHO better than a pant.

@sunshine45 : JMO, but I would not weat a print garment as MOB/ MOG.

If the skirt was black lace on black tulle- yes, guest- yes but not the above.

do you think it is better to go with a solid color because everyone else will be in a solid color?

Yes, and because a print skirt will draw the eye to your skirt in the photos and distract from the bride and groom as well as the rest of the wedding party.

A solid outfit in most any color the bride approves of will stand the test of time. Those pictures often last longer than the marriage. (ask me how i know, LOL!)

I love the skirt- I bought it in the blue. I plan to wear it as a wedding guest.

Do you think pairing the skirt with a sequined top ( I just ordered a Martha Stewart one)  to be worn to a black tie wedding would be "too much"?

I see each as a statement, so I would not combine them, but that's just me.
