Alabaster and Vivid Pink are on my List!

…….THE ALABASTER POLO………….A390843 is one of the most classic styles of all time……I recall photos taken in the 20s and 30s, during the golden age of Hollywood, of the glamorous actresses and actors in their very stylish and chic polos with wide leg trousers…..standing at the side of some incredible convertible automobile………The ENR WK is a classic length. I’ve kept the collar on the smallish side for a more European look………………If you own any alabaster pieces, such as the Ponte pant, they will all blend beautifully…..,,,It’s a color you will find works with EVERYTHING!….and under EVERYTHING!!…………..If you like to wear the unexpected….I love the Polo with the new Midnight Sequin pants and the new Navy blazer……I think by now you probably recognize almost all of the jewelry options in the photos…..all but the new MIDNIGHT PEARL “CARINA” necklace to the extreme right……………………………………………………………………….

……..THE NAVY POLO………..For something as classic as this….it still looks MODERN with an EDGE!……With the Navy Blazer and Navy Ponte pant it makes the perfect navy suit….Wear it with white pants and jeans, khakis, and flannels, and wear the Navy Polo with many more colors…In the spring wear it with fun color crop or Carpi pants..It would be great fun with the midnight Navy Sequin pant and the Navy Blazer as the photo to the extreme right……..Timeless, season-less, and CHIC……….Fall…..Winter…..Spring………and Summer, this is a piece you will always reach for…………………………enjoy………………………much Love……………………….Louis

Now these have really caught my interest!  I think the alabaster and navy.  Love this Town and Country design.  

I was frustratedly (is that a word?) searching for a caramel colored top to wear yesterday to coordinate with a specific pair of jeans.  It was too warm out to wear the WK caramel turtleneck, but I eventually pulled out a three quarter sleeved boat neck WK sweater that Louis did SEVERAL years ago in a color I think was called 'sienna'.  It matched PERFECTLY!  I so love this deep rusty coppery color this year and have even purchased a couple sweaters in Target in that color.  (Yea, they pilled with one washing and I have to take the shaver to them already - the price was right, but the maintenance time for them to continue looking good is not worth it.)

I'm so glad I bought as many WK sweaters as I did then, now that the styles are so limited.  I would REALLY like a tunic length button front cardi - my swing cardis are workhorses and have not long for acceptable wear.  

I also pulled out this week the oversized boat neck I have in black from a few years back - again a redux of this style would fit right in with the current 'oversized' trend.  

So sad these Linea designs are not appreciated by the PTB.

Like the design, but probably not these colors.  Possbly the navy, but since I wear dark bottoms 90% of the time, I'm not sure I will get the navy.
