Sizing on A87423 Mock Neck?

Does this top run smaller than expected? There seems to be some debate in the reviews, and I think I found it ran too small when I bought it myself, but I can't recall and I returned it a long time ago.

I need a couple of mock neck tops to protect my neck and possibly prevent my recurring heat rash. I may need to get a really loose-fitting one for sleeping since that's when it usually develops. Already got the RX treatment meds.

This is an Every Needle Rib knit, which I found to be looser fitting than the Whisper Knit styles. I am a 1x and could have easily sized down in this mock neck.  

 

It is a heavy knit sweater, in my opionon. A great buy at the clearance price.

I think the size you order will depend upon how fitted you like your clothes.  As for myself I no longer wish garments too fitted.  I normally wear a small or an xs but I bought this mockneck when I wore a medium, and seldom wore it.  It has stretch and on me it showed my curves. Now that I am a small the medium is loose but not too loose and I like the fit better on me.
