Lyn08, Louis responded to your asking over on his website.Yes, since it is metal it is like the Waterfall or Wave necklace; there is some weight to it.  Must be very frustrating for you; but definitely not worth pain.

Thanks for your reply, Happy Lady!  I will cancel this necklace and order the Falling Leaves necklace, as that seems to be light and airy.  I know I'll never be able to wear the earrings, though, as they will be way too long for me.  I wish Louis would make a bit shorter earring when he has a necklace and earring set like this.  Or, do you recommend another light, airy necklace to wear with casual tops?
