Repair of Linea jewelry

For those who have had Linea jewelry repaired from TCJC LLC, did you call them in advance to let them know you were sending it? I have a necklace (black, faceted bead necklace) that arrived with the strings broken. I would also be enclosing the check to them for shipping.
