SHEESH:  you responded to my post re: possible flaw in my grey swing cardi - you asked if it was a "flyer".  I don't know what a "flyer" is . . . could you explain it to me.

 

What I think is a flaw looks like the knit is not as tight or close as the rest of the sweater.

A "flyer" is a random piece of yarn or other material/fiber (usally a hard husk/paper like fiber) that gets unintentioannly woven into the knit.

Thanks SHEESH for explaining.  It is definitely not a "flyer".
