Sneak Peak just posted for the new poncho. 3 color ways...

“THE CAMEL & BLACK PONCHO”

In the ever growing world of Whisper Knit, I thought a fabulous PONCHO, A282513, would be the perfect addition. The poncho is in the MEDIUM WEIGHT ENR construction. It will be avail in FOUR SIZES…………XS/SM……M/L…….XL/1X…….2X/3X……I have the M/L poncho on my form. The form is a size 4/6 or xxs. I don’t think you should order the poncho as a matter of XS/SM, M/L etc. etc. It’s more a matter of how you want your Poncho to LOOK, and what you can carry. A smaller person may want the XS/S, but if they are tall, and slender they may prefer more coverage an a more dramatic look so instead of the xs/s, the m/l , as I have on my form, would be more to her liking. On the other hand a larger women might want a smaller size because she can’t deal with too much fabric. What I’m trying to say badly, is if you are a short plus you may want the xs/sm because of the body length, and the length down the arm might work better for you. If you are tall and a plus the larger sizes would work better. If you are tall and thin or avarage you could go either way with the xs/sm or the med./lg. Again, it’s more about the “LOOK” than the fit or size……..When I show the poncho I will try to show different sizes so you get a better idea of how they look. As I said, my samples are all M/L, so the photos above illustrate how it would look on a smaller person. Basically it comes down to the elbow or just below for the M/L. It is approx. 38-39 inches wide and 29-30 inches long………It has been my experience that knits especially ENR knits tend to hang a little longer on the body than the flat measurement…that’s the reason for the two numbers……………………The color above is……..CAMEL with Black borders at the neckline and at the hem. You can layer it as much or as little as you like. The colder the weather the more layers. Above, I have it over the BLACK MOSS CREPE GAUCHO PANT, A273865, for a very modern “fashionista” look. I also have it over the BLACK PONTE SLIM PANT, A265615, and the BLACK WK TN, A72448. The WHITE KATE COTTON SHIRT, A214116,  gives the camel and black an EXCLAMATION, [love this look]……the Black TN adds another layer of warmth. On another figure it is just over the WK TN, A72448, and the WK BLACK MILANO KNIT SKIRT, A273880………The sides of the poncho are completely open so it would be easy to carry a shoulder bag under the PONCHO if you chose…..or you could even wear it over a coat or jacket………Flung over one shoulder is very dramatic, and keeps your arms free…..great when you go into a store……..For another look…wear it HALF BELTED leaving the back unbelted to flow freely………The Camel Poncho is the perfect background for the BLACK LACQUER TRAPEZE NECKLACE, J331644, The GOLD or GUNMETAL RIBBON RING NECKLACE, J331643, or the new TIGER EYE PENDANT. There are so many jewelry pieces in the Linea Jewelry arsenal that would look fantastic on this camel poncho…….CAMEL….BLACK….and WHITE have always been a favorite color combination of mine. It says CLASS, SOPHISTICATION, THOROUGHBRED……..It has a TIMELESS quality that always looks dramatic, but in a quiet way…

“THE SCARLET RED/ BLACK PONCHO”

SCARLET RED…………..has fast become one of my most successful colors of the season……and the PONCHO seemed to be the perfect garment to do in this beautiful color. It could be said it’s very SWASHBUCKLING……..Trimming it in Black makes it easy to pair with the many things you already own………All SCARLETS in the WK will match…..so if you already bought the Scarlet Red TN, A72448….it will match. If you plan on buying the Scarlet Red WK skirt, A253411, it will match. If you plan on buying the reorder Scarlet Red TN Swing Sweater, it will too will match. There are so many ways to wear a Poncho and I’m sure you know many. One way I can see wearing this poncho on chilly days, is over your Scarlet Red Zip Front Quilted Jacket where the Scarlet WK on the jacket will match…….Again, the poncho on the form above is the med./lg…

“THE BLACK/CHARCOAL GREY PONCHO”

PURE, CLEAN and SOPHISTICATED…………………..BLACK with HEATHER CHARCOAL GREY TRIM is the third and last color being offered in the PONCHO, A282513. I would love the KATE white shirt worn under the black and grey or the matching W Knits in H.C.G…..the TN….the WK skirt in addition to the Super Ponte B.C.Pant. The C.H Grey LINEA BODY TIGHTS and LEGGINGS all will work wonderfully with this fabulous poncho….The new PINSTRIPE SOCKS, A283073, with the Slim Pants, A265615, and a pair of ballet flats will just look darn cute…………GUNMETAL ACCESSORIES are subtly chic……The BAR NECKLACE is still avail in the Gunmetal……It’s the only color left and there are very few at that…

A must have. This is one of those one and done kind of items we see from Linea that you have to buy now or regret later.

love the charcoal and the red.

i am really a poncho, cape, ruana person.....much moreso than a coat person, even in the dead of winter. i wish he had photographed at least one without anything underneath. i really want to see what the neckline looks like a bit more.

@DiAnne The color combination on one of the sneaks was purple and green, I think.  It looked beautiful and I loved the shape.  Not sure about the fabric though.  If it is that faux wool introduced last year it is super itchy.   While I loved the fit of that tunic I couldn't wear it, even layered, and just added it to the donation pile.

If you are referring to the long cardigan/coat it will be on PM Style on Halloween Oct 31st. I will post the sneak peek before then. It is made out of the faux Shetland yarn that I have used before….only this cardigan has 4 plies of yarn as opposed to 1 like the other styles."
