Louis & Donna Karan photographed by Harry Bensen for Life Magazine in Anne Klein workroom.

 

There will be a retrospective of Harry Benson's work at the Staley-Wise Gallery in New York and this photo will be included!

Thank you for posting this photo.  It is one I've never seen before.

 

Judging from the intense focus and professionalism that I sense from their body language, Louis and Donna were tigers when designing and fitting fashions.  Both were unquestionably enormously gifted talents.

 

Wish I lived nearer to NYC for I'd love to see the Harry Benson retrospective.

@golding76   Thanks, Goldie!  I wish I still live in New York and would love to see the show.  I posted it in Louis' Facebook page for him to see.  He sent me a note saying how honored he felt to be included in the retrospective.  He's such a lovely man!
