His line was more than likely not as profitable .as other lines but he had many steady regular followers who did buy.  He was probably not willing to sacrifice quality for quantity.  While his fashions were too conservative for me, they should not have dropped his line as it seemed to me to be the only line with quality fashions that seemed to sell fairly well.

Re: Letting Louis Go

[ Edited ]

I thought he would have left the channel long ago. The quality of his collections have gone down the hill sometime ago. QVC would not allow him to produce his beautiful items anymore.

Shame on you QVC.Your ladies will miss you. Thank you for the beautiful affordable collections.

While his clothes are not my style (I only wear casual) because I find his clothes a bit to dressy for me I hate to see a nice guy thrown to the curb. Yet they keep LOGO?

@ Sandy Sparkles, I think since Louis lost his precious beautiful wife he has had a difficult time. Understandable. She was a class act in every way. LOVE Louis

Well the writing was on the wall back when they let George Simonton go.  It was only a matter of time.  These are real designers.

Agree.  And Koos, Victor Costa, etc.  These were true designers not some "wannabes." IMO, QVC has gone way downhill and 99% of the stuff they sell can be found elsewhere, cheaper.

BIG mistake QVC!  BIG mistake!

Since it seems like I'm late to the party and never saw his shows, what are the features of his line?  I rarely bought QVC clothes until Covid and it seems like there are some great followers I assume for good reason. Will there be another venue in which to purchase his clothes?

No other venue, Linea was only on Q. He is a REAL career designer
