I (finally) received the LL mock t-neck A267871in fog yesterday and it has light black streaks going down the front of the top. Any ideas what this might be? And, do you think it will wash out or is it defective and should be returned? Guess this is something quality control cannot catch???

I love the fit of the top and the color, btw. Hate to have to return & reorder and wait another 2 weeks to receive a replacement.

Try washing it first? Hang dry?? If it's still there I would return it!! How annoying, right??

I wash everything before I wear it - if it shrinks or still smells I return it.   I would wash it and go from there.

@JustJazzmom and @DiAnne

I'll take your advice & wash it first.

It's weird. The streaks look like they're part of the fabric. Like something you'd see running through a yarn. Oh well. I'll report back.

Thank you for weighing in!

I hope it's not those dreaded flyers in the fabric.

@JustJazzmom

That's what I was thinking...couldn't remember the name! I wonder if "flyers" are even common in this fabric. Thought they only appeared in yarns, like acrylic, wool, etc. But, I know nothing about it, just that I'm unhappy it wasn't caught before shipping. Does QVC do any QC, or is that done by the manufacturer?

@GraceCO

I do not know who is responsible for QC-- the manufacturer or the seller.

I know in the past with some 'flyers' in some of the yarns (WK) I've had to use a needle to tease them out of the weave. Fortunately it was only one or two visible and the needle did work without damaging the WK fabric.
