Linea by Louis Dell'Olio has a loyal following and is "Customer Top Rated" according to QVC on 12/15/20. With such a record of qualiity, craftsmanship, forward thinking and good fit, the QVC decision to drop the Linea line is an insult not only to long time followers, but all the new devotees who have recently posted and left reviews.
QVC has pigeonholed Louis Dell'Olio's designs and talent with artificial constraints. At Anne Klein he was solely responsible for desgining the Anne Klein Collection including couture; serving as creative driector for Anne Klein II and A-Line; and the design and development of ten Anne Klein licensed products. He understands the needs of women from upscale to every day life and has designed for them.

For as far back as I can remember, Linea has consistently been the highest rated clothing line on QVC. And by a long shot.

@designista Thank you! Wonderful information that can be used! Thanking you for being able to use QVC's words and numbers in Louis' favor!

Don't really know the history here. Is it possible that Linea decided that they did not want to show on QVC anymore?

As Blinddogs was kind enough to give us........names, addresses, phone numbers, include @designista Customer Top Rated analysis as well.
Key People to Contact:
The mailing address for QVC executives is Qurate Retail Group, 1200 Wilson Drive, West Chester, PA 19380. The corporate phone number is (484) 701-1000. You can ask to be connected to the offices of the following people:
--Mike George, President and CEO of Qurate Retail Group. This is the guy we dealt with before when his underlings tried to kill the Linea line at QVC. In the past, I received callbacks from his staff and they listened to a detailed discussion of the issues, and my plan to stop all QVC shopping if Linea departed. He was due to retire this year but last month announced he would be staying on for another year.
--Leslie Ferraro, President of QxH, which is a corporate subgroup of Qurate Retail Group. This is the entity that controls QVC and HSN shopping sites and TV operations, and therefore she is a KEY contact to express our concerns. She hasn’t been in the job as head of QxH for very long.
Another key contact point is with Liberty Media in Colorado: Courtnee Chun, chief portfolio officer, and the principal contact person for investors in the publicly-traded entities in the Liberty portfolio. Her Phone number is (720) 875-5420.
Please be polite, but FIRM, in any contacts. That was our mantra the last time we fought this fight.

I would have thought Susan Graver would have been MUCH higher on the list. I guess because she's on air so much, or at least used to be.
I liked Linea though.

I see the numbers @designista and thank you. There has got to be some corporate reasoning that we are not aware of or, do not understand.

Maybe customer top rated doesn't translate into sales dollars.

If I remember correctly, some hosts used to call Louis Mr. Top Rated.

In my early days of QVC shopping about 22 years ago I bought Susan Graver, peachskin separates, tops, pants, etc. I travelled a lot for work and they worked ok.
I would never have given them a 5-star rating, except for one textured knit top and skirt which was lovely, well made, gorgeous violet color. Everything else did not fit well even her specialty, pants, the prints were iffy at best, and seams ripped, fabric pilled, buttons were cheap looking.
And truly I could not watch her presentations anymore with her frenetic approach, and over-used expressions for everything.
When Louis arrived at QVC no more SG ever. I have some very nice Dennis Basso, Martha Stewart, Halston, NYDJ and Laurie Felt jeans, etc., but overall I am a Linea junkie.......!
