JJM, I would have loved the flag blue.

I went for the white, which is not my best color (black even more unflattering now!  So weird, I once looked so dramatic in black), but I plan to wear a gold or colorful necklace to give me my needed color.

Yes, "netting" is a better description of the foundation of that top.

I have the olive one @golding76. Anyone remember the design top (came in black, white & flag blue) with netting from a few years ago? I wear that top with an alternate color tank below it.

I would have been on this if the white was alabaster! I’m contemplating the black.

@JustJazzmom

Yes! I have it in black and white--it was a first pass for me and then I warmed to it. I wear them sans tanks.

I'm debating about this lace top...

Yes I brought that in the black with the matching tank and I think I have a tank in just about every color in the rainbow to wear under it.

I too would have jumped on this too if I didn't already have something similiar.

The pic wasn’t up when I went to bed. Saw it first thing this morning and thought the same thing you did. Then saw the video and changed my mind! Love the white under the black too. Prime example of crappy Q pics. Funny you call it a wow piece because that’s what I said to Louis about it!

I think the Black Tank under the White Lace would look equally as good!  Why not?! Also, a Nude tank under either one of them!  Now we're talkin'...!!!!

For the FIRST time in many, many months I was able to cancel an order!  I had second thoughts about the black lace top, decided to go for the white one instead.  Whew.  I just could not think when I saw it this a.m. and KNEW it was something I MUST HAVE.

Of course I'd love both but one has to be a bit judicious with that smoking Visa card.....

I've been looking for probably 3 years for a white lace top like this.  I did buy the Martha Stewart white lace 3/4 sleeve top and it is pretty, but not a WOW like this one, and it is exceedingly boxy, makes me look a bit like a walking refrigerator from 1949.

So, I am returning that one as it is still in the packaging, glad I waited to see if another one came along that is better.  And there was not a hint of this in the wind or I would have waited.

I love a white lace top with casual ankle washed jeans for everyday, and dressed up with slim black bottoms, wide black bottoms, slim white cropped pants (which I just ordered too), whatever.

I wish it had come with the tank, but am pleased he offered one as I do not have an appropriate white tank.   Many will have black or white and would have balked at a higher price point that included the tank (like the safari shirt), so this probably works out best for everyone.

The lace on this looks impeccable, and the scalloped hem is the icing on this particular lacy lovely cake!

And I am left wondering if their former cancellation policy might be coming back?  I would be extremely thrilled to have 24 hours to re-think things.  It saves a lot of returns, my shipping fees, endless back and forth if cancelling is possible.

I too had been looking for a lace top and ordered Martha's top. I wore and laundered the white one and was sooo disappointed how the "eyelash" trim faired.  I am returning today.  I ordered both the black and white from Louis and have no doubt they will be far superior.  And the look- doesn't even compare!  Whatever was I thinking?!

Omg I just saw this when looking to place my order for the pin striped blouse. Beyond beautiful! I already own something similar in black from Chicos so I went with the white and matching shell. I have a feeling I will like this 100 times better and end up ordering the black as well. Usually the only time I send anything back from Louis is not because I didn't like it but because it didn't look good on me. This brings my total order to 7 this time. Just when I had my Q card paid off!!  Ugh.  Louis you're killing me!

@anniebethsmom

Good to know about the laundering; mine is DEFINITELY going back!

What was I thinking, I know.  I guess I "settled" for it as the nearest thing I could find in stores or here, not knowing that this Linea one was coming.   I shall be returning the Martha one asap.
