Re: Is QVC sabatoging the Linea line?

@BirkiLady.  It sounds as though your package was misdelivered to someone who opened it, decided she didn't like it and eventually sent it on.  Really weird but not QVC's fault.  It's nice you finally got it though.  Merry Christmas.

Re: Is QVC sabatoging the Linea line?

January of this year, they kept messing up my Linea orders. I got "it's the holiday help" spiel, too. Latest was the black trench that never came. Of course, there was no tracking information for it and no more available in my size.

Re: Is QVC sabatoging the Linea line?

@Kachina624  Unfortunately, it sat in CA and KC, MO for weeks. I was watching the Tracking Number and it didn't move. Someone from UPS or USPS opened it. The package never made it to anyone's home! SMH.

I'm done with QVC and their cost-cutting method of shipping. A month to receive a package doesn't work well for me. As a customer, I'm worth more than that! That was the last straw . . . doubt I'll use the credit offered on my previous hassel with QVC for another Linea order which Beth provided.

I'm seriously unhappy with all aspects of the company.

Yes.  I think when I look at my recent orders this past week I do think QVC is at the very least undermining Linea.

All other orders are shipping very quickly, and today some that I ordered two days ago are being delivered by UPS, amazing.  However, the Linea Big Deal jacket I ordered the day before it was on has not shipped yet, still "in process."

There was so little on the website about this jacket, terrible photos, few shows, no "cool" styling ideas presented on a video for those who do not watch Q2, that they almost pre-ordained low sales numbers.

Of course many do not like Linea clothing but I bet many shoppers never even realize it was available and such a nice alternative to the long droopy thin clothing they are used to seeing.  A better website presence would have helped, as would better styling in the photos.

Yesterday I received a Logo Lavish top with very fast shipping that was too small, very skimpy, very unflattering, cheap looking buttons, but it shipped fast.  I am returning it fast too; it cost more than the Linea jacket and honestly looked so cheesy.  But the exclamations over it when it was presented!  I could kick myself for falling for it.

I don't think we'll have Linea to buy for long, perhaps only the jewelry.  The lack of new WK sweaters this fall was a huge hint.....

‘Death by a thousand cuts’ is how I describe what QVC is doing to the line.

I was quite surprised that the hostess on presentation did the most talking when the Big Deal was being presented. And the upsell item — the Coquette jewelry which was only seen on Brenda with the black jacket; it didn’t have its own presentation on that one show. It should have.

My Coquette set arrives today before the storm.

author,

You crystallized my inchoate thoughts so well.  Perfectly expressed, and I thank you.

I agree with all you've said. I thought Amy did a great job selling the jacket, along with giving the detailed specs, even though it's unusual for the host to do the heavy lifting on the selling. Amy also looked GREAT in the jacket--the entire outfit nicely showed off both the jacket & sweater. Very flattering on her!

The Coquette jewelry on Brenda was overlooked and, even if a full presentation wasn't do-able, just a mention of it, when the call out of the sneak peek skirt was mentioned would've helped. I was even thinking the new necklace was one of the glass bead necklaces from a couple years ago.

I hope your set arrives before the snowstorm, JJM. Stay warm & safe.

The floral tulle skirt was mentioned as a sneak peek. I think the hostess looked great in the new jacket,

Re: Is QVC sabatoging the Linea line?

Just an opinion I’m stating after reading recent comments, but I thought Amy did a great job. She always seems enthusiastic and gives great styling tips. I like her and Courtney K a lot. Of all the hosts that presented the BD, Amy did the best. It was hard to watch some of the other hosts that cut Jennifer off constantly with annoying comments.

A shame they didn’t get a chance to really upsell the coordinating necklaces. Thank goodness we have Louis’s FB presentations.

Re: Is QVC sabatoging the Linea line?

I agree that Amy did a wonderful job introducing the Big Deal.  She also looked so good in it and I really liked the way she styled it.  Nancy Hornbeck also looked really nice when I caught a glimpse of her at the end of her show in the pink jacket.

Wish I could have seen more of the tulle embroidered skirt and the jewelry.

But.....QVC could do so much more to promote this line.  Every time I wear something Linea I get compliments and mostly they are from younger women, and sometimes men (the red trench coat e.g.).

The faux suede trench this fall in Loden got so many nice comments from the style, fabric, color, how great I looked that DH just rolled his eyes when we were out and about.

If they ask where I got it I almost always have to say it is a small boutique designer brand on QVC called Linea but.....the item is sold out.  I then mention that the photos online never look as nice as the garment does!

I do fear this line won't be with us that much longer.
