Does anyone remember when Louis said that the l-o-n-g open front cardigans would be coming in? This is definite NOT something I want to bother Louis with at this time. I can wait. I just am wanting to know how long I need to wait ![]()

As long as it takes. Have some compassion.

@TheOwl, I recall Louis mentioned bringing them to us in various colors in January.

I can only imagine how difficult it is going to be for Louis if and when he decides to continue selling his clothing on the Q....without his wife modelng them. I hope he takes all the time he needs. He has always seemed like a gentleman.

@TheOwl i don't know if you saw that Louis updated his upcoming important events data:

i don't know if he'll be presenting or what he will be presenting, but maybe your item might show up around one or another of these dates.

That reply is just plain rude and unnecessary. The OP is a long time poster on the Linea forum who is asking other Linea ladies for some information. She clearly said that she would NOT bother Louis with a question at this time. There is an effort being made to keep this forum going at a difficult time, and @TheOwl was just doing her part by adding a new post with an innocent question. Wow.

Shoes,
Thank you for your sensible and understanding response. Although the "offending" poster thought she was doing a good deed, without knowing the history of Louis and his Linea Ladies, she mistakenly shot her arrow at the wrong target. In actuality, there is no target.

In addition to modeling his clothes, Jac was very much an intregal part of Louis's creative process. He brought her to Anne Klein as his muse, and her role and inspiration only increased over the years. Over the decades! This is going to be very, very hard for him.
