Louis mentioned during the presentation of this lovely set that there is a French jewelry designer (he mentioned two initials but didn't say what those initials are) whose similar designs are much more $$$$.  Does anyone know who that designer is?

@beherenow123 I'm pretty sure Louis was referring to YSL Yves Saint Laurent. Go to ebay and look for YSL Vintage runway jewelry - it's fabulous and inspiring. And Louis' looks just as good for a fraction of the cost. Have fun!

Louis mentioned it was a French Designer with initials. I also think it is YSL.

Thank you!   It does look like vintage YSL.

I have to say I really like the Matte Gold on the YSL version. But I bet it costs more to manufacture---and extra process--and no doubt the buyers wanted to keep it at a certain price point.  I love it when Louis does the Matte Gold. The Multi Cross and Fluted Bead necklace was in Matte Gold and is such a good look!

I thought he was talking about vintage Chanel. She always did those long necklaces of round glass flat stones in gold settings on gold chain.I hadn't thought of YSL, but he probably did something similar too. Which ever designer he was talking about, their jewelry is very very expensive. I stick with Linea.

I have a long YSL necklace in jewel tones that is over 30 years old and I still wear it to this day. It is definitely vintage and once I found it on the bay and they wanted $300 for it. Never letting mine go. It was given to me as a gift from my husband and daughters when the girls were very little.
