I've been with qvc and louis more than 20 years.  and this has never happen to me.  I placed my order for "the big deal", while it was in its first showing, about 9:15pm, on Tuesday evening, used the Q2 automated ordering line. ordered 1x in seafoam.  I rec'd an email confirmation, checked it Wednesday and it was processing and Thrursday I checked again and it is now backorder.    What??

Mine shipped today. They must have fulfilled more orders than they had product. Not good Smiley Sad Sorry

Sorry this happened to you.  I ordered 3 gold chains, 1 EternaGold, 2 Milor and all 3 were backordered for me!  Called CS and they said the vendors didn't have enough stock!  What?  Maybe this is how it is going to be now.....

It's not the vendor who didn't have enough stock, it's QVC who didn't order enough. They shouldn't have sold more than they had.

Over many years this has happened to me several times.

 

Every time I have received it.

 

Never had it stay as a backorder very long.

 

 

Now waitlist is a different story.  I have had them cancelled on me many times when they couldn't get any more.

 

 

If you really like it, don't cancel!

 

Backorders are filled before waitlist.

You know this is odd and it's been going on for months now with his merchandise.  I had the same thing happen with the black embroidered jacket about 3 months ago and others have posted similar issues.

 

Just strange.

There seems to be more trouble with filling Linea orders than all the other lines combined.  As far back as I can remember, there have been problems.  Why?

Bling, This is really odd, and annoying.  It wasn't sold out, in fact it wasn't even limited, by size or color.  but yet, backordered....?   I question QVC, never Louis.  I question Q2,  and automated ordering on Q2.  So I canceled the Big Deal,  and ordered something else from Louis, this time on my lap top.

I ordered the sage anorak jacket before they even had the presentation duing his second show. I checked the order the next day and it was in Backorder status. I cancelled it because I was so mad. Sine the price was slashed by $40, I doubt they're bringing it back.

@aoldgirl  Mine wasn't sold out either, it showed available for a couple days and even when I questioned it, the item was available but then it went into a backorder, processing, backorder, processing and finally backorder.  Never got any answers as to why, I believe a couple times I was promised a next day ship and then it went back into backorder.  This continues to amaze me that the same issue goes on and on and it's not being fixed.
