Thanks everyone.  That makes sence that the "p" is for plus not petite.  You can tell it's late!

I got excited for a minute thinking that if I got a petite I wouldn't have to worry about the arm length.  I have short arms and tend to have a problem with long sleeves.  Keeping my fingers crossed that the jacket works for me.

I have short arms, too. I will take to the tailor to have them shortened. It's an easy fix. Nothing worse than too long of a sleeve hanging down over your hand and these sleeves cannot be folded back. I am used to having to do this, so it dooesn't dissuade me from buying what I like as long as the sleeve can be shortened.

I got the Red and the Black---the two colors I wear the most!

@SahmIam

The description says semi fitted. I would've liked to have seen a measurement for the waist seam and even a hip measurement, but that's rarely done with coats and dresses. Shoulder and bust numbers are a little bigger than the comparable sized trench coat. Here's the size chart. This site is molasses slow tonight.

Thanks ladies!

Based on the measurements, I went with my regular size 14.

@SahmIam  I'm 5'7 1/2" and weigh about 150. Love to wear 100% wool sweaters! Usually wear a Medium in LDO clothing. The 12 looks perfect, but wondering if I should size up for thick winter clothing underneath? Any ideas? I've never had any of his leathers before, just suedes many years ago (and they are size smalls and huge now). Thanks.

I have the moto in a 12 but based on these measurements it looks like I would be an 8 or 10.  I guess I'll go with the 10.  I don't see the DFG pictured though.  This is a tough decision -- DFG? Black?.  Port is beautiful too.

Thanks @JustJazzmom!  As a redhead I think I really have to go with the Green!

From Louis' site under the green coat:
"The jacket is in numerical sizes for a more accurate fit. If you have purchased any Linea jacket or coat in a numerical size I would recommend choosing the same size."
