What new coat are you talking about?  Other than the trench, has Louis shared information about another new coat this fall.  I always read his blog, but must have missed that bit of information.

I am doomed as well.....Fall is the best/worst time for me with Linea, but I know from the past seasons that these are my most loved and worn clothes, so I am not even considering it "caving" but investing in my closet, giving new life to things I own, and always being ready with a fabulous outfit for any occasion that might pop up.  It's for my mental health!  These things make me feel better!

I missed the Red Coat (Scarlet!!!) reference/hint and think now that I just turned 70 and love my neutrals it is time to break out and buy a scarlet coat. Yes, that's what I will do if I love it, and of course I will, always love Louis's coats.

@author Great point and I know I'm in that camp, as well. And, "always being ready with the perfect outfit" is true and one cannot underestimate the value of that. Whenever I've needed an outfit for a special event or meeting pre-Linea, I could never shop and find what I wanted--a lot of time was wasted and I'd "settle." Now, I know I have all the basics, plus gorgeous jewelry, to pull it all together and I'm ready for just about anything. That's why we love our Linea.

Yes!  You don't want to have to desperately search for something for events, and then have to ......SETTLE!  

I used to do that, and now I am prepared, and much of that is due to careful selections and from being able to change the mood of these pieces to fit the occasion with accessories, other pieces.  It's almost like solving a puzzle, fun, and if you win you really win bigtime with incredible looks that are unique and memorable.

@authorLike you, I also have my eye on the new red coat coming! Something about the color red just makes me happy. With all that's happening in the world today, we could use something uplifting and joyful. Hope we see it presented in the Fall...definitely before the holidays

I'm in Fl and am tempted by the English rib sweater but question if I need another sweater. How warm do you think this sweater will be?

I have a red pea coat from JCP St. John's Bay brand that I bought before Louis had his out. I wear it during the winter with camel gloves, scarf and a beret if it's really cold.

Charter Club at Macy's has really nice winter accessories and this camel set has black and cream striping through it.

Culebra - Louis mentioned a new Coat would be coming - he was answering a question on his Blog - all he would say was that it would be available (if I remember correctly) in three colours - the Red - and I think Winter White - and I cannot recall the third colour.  I have not seen any additional information.

The Q has said my scarlet red quilted jacket has shipped via UPS! It's at the E. Petersburg hub -- maybe Monday arrival.

@crazycockermom, the orange English Rib is in processing on my order. If you're unsure, maybe you can watch, see if the inventory goes down in your size, and put it on check status if it does. Once I get mine, I'll post here whether I think it works for our climate. I couldn't resist because orange of any hue doesn't come along often and it is one of my favorite colors. I have the camel on check status until the orange arrives and I try it on to see how warm it is.
